2021 KTM 890 Adventure R Build

Upon reaching the one year mark of starting Tune Logic USA, I wanted to build an 890 that would allow me to better engage with the community, do constant testing and allow me ultimatley always keep pursing bettering the tune I had built for the KTM 890 Adventure r.

The bike needed to be comfortable and it didn’t take long after getting the bike to realize that I definetly needed more cushion to help out on those longer rides. Aside from the butt uncomfortability I realized that my knees were also feeling strained due to the aggressive bend when my fit are sitting on the pegs. This prompted the idea of opting for the Rally seat that is just slightly taller as well as well thinner.

In order to prevent the agressive knee bend and keep the bike comfortable for long rides I decided to go with the @Vanasche Motorsports footpegs that sit just a bit lower and pushed back taking the strain off of your knees. I didn’t realize just how much of a difference this would make until I got a chance to ride the bike with them installed. With the footpegs in their new position the next order of business was to get the brake lever and shifter lever in their proper positions. With those new levers installed and complimented with their brake pedal pad I could tell not only my knees would be grateful, but my feet as well to have a direct and connected feel to the foot controls.

One of the key complaints on this bike is gas cap and there have been reported of cases of people breaking their keys in the stock gas cap. I wanted to rule that out entirely and have nice piece of mind (not to mention it looks amazing) so I opted for the Vanasche Motorpsorts billet fuel fillter setup.
